Canadian Artist Study

The Junior Room has been studying the geography of Canada as well as Canadian artists. One of their recent projects involved choosing a work of art produced by one of the Group of Seven artists that portrayed Canadian landscape and then attempting to imitate the original work. You can see here the excellent results. Each student's work is placed above or below the artist's original.

It's that time of the year when we do our first push for Kindergarten registrations. This is the new banner that Sandy put together. I think it's fantastic!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break filled with peace and good will.
Now we are back in session and the kids are doing a great job of getting back to the business of learning in a sphere of charity and safety. We are all looking forward to a wonderful 2009!
