Playschool Music Class

Playschool’s music class involves a lot of gross motor movement as students sing and act out the lyrics.
In this song, students have just found out that Grandma is coming for a visit, but oh no the house is messy so they must tidy using their scarves.

Next the students sing about their feelings and demonstrate the face that matches those feelings when they pull off their scarves. Students had the opportunity to show their happy, grumpy, funny and sleepy faces.

Finally, the students listen to the teacher ringing bells to try and hear what the bells say they should be doing. Sometimes the teacher rings the bells quickly and the children jump up and down to the beat and sometimes she makes them sound like a trotting horse by playing them in a choppy rhythm and the children trot in a circle.
